[iv] if you wait too long then you'll never see the dawn again

Christmas is bordering on ridiculous. Commercialism aside, the customs all originate from different religions and cultures and many have been perverted by time. Trees were meant to hang upside-down and the Saint Nicholas rescued children from a butcher, not gave them presents. Trust Americans to Slaughter traditions in order to corrupt the matters to a form for their own adolescent nation.

The corpses only make me desire fresh blood. Thanatos stole from me my last pursuit.

Also, from whom did I receive this "Murder by Numbers"? I wish to thank them.

Have you any need of my services at present?

I've been made a receptionist at a museum. The only solace I get is when I can give them some little bit of knowledge. What do you do that keeps you away from them?

If they stick to killing the living I don't mind. Mortals are quite good at it.

I am a Medical Examiner. I take notes on how people died by looking at their corpse, then pass it on to my superiors. It grants limited interaction. Maybe you would do better as a tour guide of some kind.

They are terrible at Murder, but they do enough of it.

I would probably get myself fired, but maybe you're right. I don't think I'll ever get used to working and all the politics of it. At the museum at least, it is worse then the courts of Greece.

Without you to guide their hands, I'm not surprised. What they lack in quality they certainly make up for with quantity.

Disgusting.

If the two were interchangeable, I might be without purpose. I am thankful they are not for that reason, if nothing else. Man is too desperate to be beautiful in Killing.
